On August, 28th our school age program put on their very own lemonade stand and car wash! A few weeks beforehand Ms. Cassy went and talked to our school agers about helping out the community and showing others the love of Jesus. The Badger class decided that they wanted to help out a local homeless shelter, and that they wanted to raise money and donations through a car wash and lemonade stand. All of the school age classrooms worked very hard on making flyers and spreading the word to all of our families.
During the car wash and lemonade stand all of our school agers were very excited to see so many cups of lemonade being sold and more and more cars pulling up to get a car wash, all well getting donations to help Family Promise in West Bend.
We are so proud of the hard work that all of the school agers put into their event, and we are excited to announce that we were able to raise over $400 plus donations!
Way to go school agers!
